My experience learning English at the university
I had a really great time in Wednesday and Friday’s class. On Wednesday in my opinion we knew each other in a very recreational way, making funny dialogues and sharing them with the whole class, completing the English books that sometimes were a headache because nothing came up to our minds and if nothing came up to our minds we just could not go to our houses or somewhere else. The listenings and the quizzes were not that hard or as hard as I imagined.
On Wednesday, it was more personal work, because different topics were assigned to us and everyone had to write an opinion about them, like 200 to 350 words. It was really useful to make this blog because it helped me out to discover words, phrases, expressions that, I think, never in my life would see, listen or read. Lab class was fun, especially when you can write about all you want and also see all that your classmates thoughts about different topics like bad and good points of their lives, what they think about university or even money.
I really enjoyed this subject along the university year, because I think it was a different, interesting and pleasant way of learning English that I didn’t experience before. It was nice to have a kind, nice, concerned and very understanding teacher that always was ready to help you, answering the entire questions that I and my classmates had, giving us tips for learning English in the best way. I think I learned a lot, but not just English’s things also life’s practical things. It was nice to undergo this subject that I really don’t think is a subject, more like a fun and very useful hobby. =D
Bye Bye!

Physical Therapy
From the computer lab writing again a post related with goals and challenges that my field or discipline (Physical Therapy) is currently facing.
First of all Physical therapy is a profession well established and regulated whose aim is to offer certain services to people in order to help them develop, restore or maintain a maximum ability in their movement during a lifetime.
Physical therapy also deals with those situations in which function and movement are threatened by the aging process, injuries, environmental factors or disease. To accomplish it’s goals, physical therapy workers pursue the following objectives: promotion of well being and health, emphasizing the importance of physical activity; prevention of disabilities and limitations due to various factors; intervention and treatment provision; modification of the access and barriers to different places/areas for those who are physically impaired, in order to ensure everybody’s participation in their social/community roles fully and, as much as possible, normally. All these processes take place in a variety of settings designed to serve these specific purposes, such as: hospitals, hospices, health centers, educational and research establishments, individual homes, out-patient clinics, nursing homes, private offices/clinics/practices, occupational health centers, fitness clubs, etc.
Technology is not usually found in physical therapy education curricula, although lately in our current diagram curriculum, new by the way (because of the curriculum innovation) is being incorporated.
With the advent of the various Internet social networking mediums on the world wide web such as Facebook , MySpace , and a host of others combined with other communication tools such as blogs, Twitter , Friendfeed and others, the challenge for any professional or in this case physical therapists is to find a way to effectively use these tools to promote their practice and communicate with their patients and/or clients.
Therapeutic technology has been very successful in treatments for new and old diseases. Thanks to different people that constantly is thinking about how improve treatments and people’s lives ,new tools and machines were developed like ultrasound, electrodes that the physical therapist put in different parts of your body that discharge electric shocks making muscle contraction or machines that measure your blood pressure, haemoglobin saturation, etc etc.
From it’s origin, physical therapy has improved a lot and I hope with new generations this improvement will be major.
Thanks and Bye!

Money
Hey there!
Here I am once again. Well, this new post is about money.
Although I think I’m good with money I can tell you that I don’t like much money, because sometimes it makes people unhappy or mean to each other. The greed, the race for who makes more money, who have the best houses, cars, electronics, etc., are examples of what is the money capable of. That’s kind of the bad points of money from my point of view. On the other hand is nice to have some money to spend on your friends, or going to a shopping and buy some clothes, a cell phone maybe, a present for someone or what ever you want.
When I don’t have much money and I really want to do something like go to a party or a concert I borrow money from my friends, obviously paying them back in a brief period of time, and generally they do the same thing. I can say that I don’t have much problems borrowing or lending money.
I like manage money, but just my money, for now, maybe in the future I would like to manage someone else’s money to invest it in business or something like that.
About the question: “Do you think public schools should teach children how to manage money, or is this the responsibility of parents and family?”
I would say that schools should teach children how to manage money, but that is just a part, the biggest part comes from the family, and not just money’s topic almost everything should come from parents…. I think that’s the society’s pillar. When we are children and we didn’t have the chance to be in contact with money, when we do have that contact (we have it) most of the times we don’t know how to manage and spend it in stupid things.
Now I don’t have a bank because is not necessary (my parents support me) but certainly I’ll need one.
I wish that every body could live without problems…money’s problem….but in this crazy world it’s impossible, the difference between people rich and people poor is weigh too much.
Take care
See ya

My Faculty
Well, most of the people like this faculty, it has beautiful places where you can study, have fun, spend some time sleeping or just hanging out with your friends. It’s pretty big and that’s why sometimes you are discovering new places every day. Although I like it, it has some things that need improvement, like the soccer field where it’s impossible to end a match without hurting your feet or with your soccer shoes in the same shape as they were before the game. Maybe remodelling the soccer field would help so we won’t have those problems again. Another example could be the gym that it’s a kind of small, the locker room is not clean enough and there aren’t enough showers.
If the coffee shop was bigger maybe it would have more students in it, but it’s a little uncomfortable to be in. The bathrooms are pretty good but they could be better.
The computers in this faculty are veryyyyyyy slow so if you need something in a short period of time from a computer. You don’t need to bother trying to get it in this faculty. Usually the students bring their lap-tops and work on them.
Some structures in this faculty are really ugly; they need to be repaired like the building near the climbing wall for example.
Well I think this is it, like the Michael Jackson movie jaja see ya next week
Take care
Bye!
